Robert Root MD is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist with extensive experience providing exploratory psychotherapy as well as evaluating and treating people with complex mental health issues. He has practiced his entire career in the San Francisco-Bay Area and has worked closely with its diverse community.

Dr. Root has particular expertise in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents and young adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and learning challenges. He takes a comprehensive and integrative approach to evaluation and treatment planning.
